Achievements

2012: Developing breast radiotherapy clinical practice guidelines at KHCC.
2015: Establishing 3D Image Guided Brachytherapy (IGBT) program for gynecological cancers at KHCC for the first time in the Kingdom
2018: Introducing interstitial brachytherapy for gynecological cancers, which the only of its kind in Jordan.
Implementation of cardiac sparing breast irradiation using Active Breath Coordinator (ABC) system.
Wider adoption of sophisticated radiotherapeutic techniques such as Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT) and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT) for oligometastases, and treatment delivery using advanced image guided technology such as CBCT and Exac Trac

Awards And Honors

2013: The Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (New York) Award at their first Inaugural Joint Course of Oncologic Sciences at American University of Beirut. My project received the best presentation award as well.
2013: Chicago Sister Cities Medical Initiative/Lurie Cancer Center Award at the 15th Annual Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Symposium, Chicago – USA.
