Bank al Etihad Sponsors the Academy of Education and Training at the King Hussein Cancer Center
Amman, September 6, 2020 - The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Bank Al Etihad, according to which the bank sponsors the Academy of Education and Training at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) for a period of three years, as to support the efforts of the academy and cover training and operational expenses.
The MoU was signed by the Director General of the KHCF, Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, and the CEO of Bank al Etihad, Her Excellency Mrs. Nadia Al Saeed, in the presence of the Chairman of Bank al Etihad, Mr. Isam Salfiti, and Dr. Jamal Khader, President of the Academy of Education and Training at the KHCC.
The Academy of Education and Training conducts various training programs at the hands of specialized cadres, with standards consistent with education strategies and building expertise and skills. It offers master's programs, diplomas, and training courses for medical and non-medical personnel, university students and graduates from Jordan and other countries.
On this occasion, Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish thanked Bank al Etihad for its continuous cooperation with the KHCF and KHCC, stating: “We appreciate the bank’s support of the academy, which will play a major role in preserving the status of the KHCC as one of the best accredited, competent, reliable destinations that provide courses which improve the performance of medical staff and professionals across various fields,".
For her part, Her Excellency Mrs. Nadia Al Saeed said: “Sustainable development is part of our culture and internal environment at Bank al Etihad. Our clients and community are our family, thus, our social responsibility program is designed in a way that ensures making a positive impact within our community in a manner that warrants its effectiveness in achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals,”.
