KHCC’s Cancer Control Office (the regional representative of Global Bridges) has trained over 2,000 individuals from the region on TDT in the past five years. Trainees include healthcare professionals, medical and pharmacy students, and tobacco control advocates.
The KHCC Tobacco Dependence Treatment (TDT) Training program is the first program outside the USA to receive full accreditation from the Council for Tobacco Treatment Training Programs (CTTTP). Upon completion of the requirements, trainees of this program are certified as Tobacco Treatment Specialists (TTS).
